Yesterday morning while making lunch for the two of us, Carlo managed to slice off the top of his left index finger with one of our new Global knives. It is a pretty bad cut, but unfortunately there is nothing that can be done for it aside from lots of applications of neosporin and keeping it clean. He even went to health center at UNLV to double check it, but they said he is doing everything he can. Here is the least gnarly photo of his finger (you don’t want to see it from the other side):
Despite the injury, Carlo still hasn’t lost his sense of humor since he asked me last night whether I had found his fingertip in the shrimp and feta tabbouleh that I had for lunch. Gross.
I took care of Carlo as best as I know how by picking up some Thai food and opening a bottle of wine. It is sad that my care taking skills are so crap that he recognized these actions as being really thoughtful. Anyway, happy 1 month anniversary Carlo and I love you even if you only have 9 fingertips right now.

I,ve done that myself more times than I can count, takes a while to heal.
Thank-you both so very much for the lovely photo of your wedding , the back drop is so beautiful enjoy your time now as a married couple and I wish you both the very best that life has to offer .
