I totally forgot to include this in the last post, but we also handpicked our favourite songs for the ceremony.
While all of our guests were taking their seats, the string duo played Champagne Supernova by Oasis, Carlo’s favourite band. Our families walked down the aisle to the Beatles’ In My Life and I made my grand entrance to the Verve’s Bittersweet Symphony, which was totally awesome. I just wish I had a longer aisle to walk down because I love that song! At the end of the ceremony, Carlo and I walked back down the aisle to the Beatles’ All You Need is Love.
During the cocktail hour, the string duo played different rock songs and I remember Carlo leaning over to me while we were taking photos and asking, “Are they playing Stairway to Heaven?” It was pretty cool.

The music was totally cool! At one point they played Great Balls of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis! And your entrance to Bittersweet Symphony was classic, beautiful and so ALEX!!! What a great day! That was one of the most fun weddings we have been to. Classy, elegant and FUN, just like you.
